Chinese enterprises highly appreciate Dong Thap salanganes nest
In the afternoon of March 23, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien – Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevent provincial departments, the People's Committee of Cao Lanh district and Cao Lanh city worked the delegation of Guangdong Import and Export Association (China). This is the second time the Association has visited and worked with the province.

Before the meeting, the delegation of Guangdong Import-Export Association visited the birdhouse in Cao Lanh city, worked with Nhan Loc Farming Club (Xinyi commune, Cao Lanh district) on connecting bird's nest consumption; At the same time, surveying the investment location to build a bird's nest processing factory in My Hiep Industrial Cluster, Cao Lanh district.
The whole province of Dong Thap currently has 528 nest houses, with an annual output of bird's nest products from 05-06 tons / year.
At the meeting with leaders of the provincial People's Committee, the delegation of the Guangdong Import-Export Association said that through the survey, it was found that the quality of Dong Thap's salanganes nests reached high quality and wished to sign a cooperation agreement to sell products, as well as build a factory to process this product in Dong Thap. The association proposed that the province propose the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to add raw (unrefined) salangnes nest products to the Bird's Nest Export Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the General Department of China Customs.
In addition, the delegation of Guangdong Import and Export Association informed about the promotion plan to bring Dong Thap agricultural products to the Chinese market; organizing conferences on product promotion and trade; introduce Dong Thap investment policy to Guangdong enterprises, etc.
Through exchanges between departments and branches of Dong Thap province, Nhan Loc farming club and Guangdong Import-Export Association, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Phuoc Thien assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs as the contact person to synthesize the contents of cooperation proposals between the two sides.
The contents of conferences on promotion, product trading, factory investment, product standardization and development of farming area codes, etc. are assigned by the Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee to each specific department; and noted the Association's recommendations related to the Bird's Nest Export Protocol.
