On March 14, the Dong Thap Provincial Farmers' Association collaborated with the Project Management Board "Improving Fruit Quality in Vietnam" to host a workshop to share strategies for improving the quality and market access of Vietnamese fruits. The workshop had the participation of a number of organizations and experts from the Netherlands.

The workshop's goal is to exchange similar technologies that can help enhance fruit farming in Vietnam while also exploring future potential such as scaling up, forming partnerships, developing farmers with market power, and expanding the process to other fruit crops.
Experts discuss marketing and branding for agricultural products, critical post-harvest aspects, and developing action plans to promote a business-friendly climate.
The Netherlands-Vietnam Health Committee has funded the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union's "Improving Fruit Quality in Vietnam" project (The four provinces chosen for the project are Dong Thap, Ben Tre, Long An, and Binh Thuan).
In Dong Thap province, after nearly two years of operation, the initiative has assisted mango growers in collecting soil and water tests, arranged seven training courses, and held three thematic seminar programs, gathering over 360 individuals. Officials from many departments and branches of the province, as well as farmer members, participated.
On March 26, the Project Management Board will work with the Provincial Farmers' Association to conduct "Innovative Fruit Technology Day" and summarize project operations.
