Recently, Zalo Application has launched a unique set of Baby Pangasius stickers based on the pangasius fish symbol of Dong Thap province.

16 funny Baby Pangasius stickers on Zalo app

The set has 16 stickers featuring vivid and funny images. Each sticker has content and messages inspired by fish-related sayings such as: “Kén cá chọn canh” meaning “Picky”, “Bắt cá hai tay” meaning “Run after two horses”, “Pagasius capital – Hong Ngu Hometown”, and other trendy sentences. In addition, the idea was also gathered from related sayings of people in Hong Ngu city - the capital of pangasius.

Pangasius is one of the five key commodities of the province in the implementation of the Agricultural Restructuring Project since 2014. This fish not only brings economic values to the locality but also contributes to the creation of a chain of related industries, creating jobs for many people. In 2022, the Provincial People's Committee organized the first Pangasius Festival with the theme “The Pangasius Festival - Reaching out to the ocean” in Hong Ngu city to introduce and honor the image and products of pangasius, local traditional field, affirming the value, origin and brand of Vietnamese pangasius in general and Dong Thap province in particular.

This is the second time that the iconic image of Dong Thap province has appeared on a Vietnamese application that is mostly used by young people. Before that, in 2017, Dong Thap Baby Lotus was also used by Zalo as a sticker collection.

Zalo is a social network in Vietnam with nearly 75 million users.
